About the Name …
Clever, huh? Banking On The Blog is a play on the phrase, “blogging to the bank,” made famous by Rob Benwell.
Believe it or not, the phrase “banking on the blog” did not show up in a Google search at the time I created this blog. We’ll see if I can claim the brand now! 
I also thought of “banking to the blog,” but that didn’t make much sense. How can you bank to a blog? Banking on a blog is comprehensible, though — especially if you read “banking” to mean “making money” or “relying [on] for income.”
